The Barista A2 is a compact dual boiler with two ECM E61 brew groups and volumetric dosing. Four coffee quantities can be freely programmed on the buttons - conveniently: the right brew group takes over the values of the left one, unless other values are stored. Programming is very easy via Start/Stop. An electronic pre-infusion can also be activated. The very quiet rotary pump automatically fills the boiler; if the machine needs to be transported, the boiler can be easily emptied. The sight glass quickly provides information about the fill level.
With 14 liters, the boiler is huge, allowing it to handle times with high throughput without losing power. The two steam plants are controlled via tipping valves, and the hot water output is managed by the programmable control electronics. The installed double manometer provides information about the pressure for the service boiler and brewing pressure. The backflushing can occur automatically. The passively heated cup tray is large and surrounded by an acrylic glass railing. Lastly, it should be mentioned that the service technician only needs to loosen 4 screws to access the interior of the machine.
