The Profitec Pro 400 Black Edition is a compact, powerful dual-circuit espresso machine in an elegant matte black design with shiny chrome accents. It combines stylish looks with high-quality technology and is ideal for anyone who wants to prepare professional espresso at home – without compromises in space, function, or quality.
With a heat-up time of only about 10 minutes, the machine is quickly ready for operation. Thanks to the proven E61 brew group with stainless steel bell and the 1.6-liter stainless steel boiler, espresso and milk foam can be prepared simultaneously – ideal for cappuccino or latte macchiato. Fresh water from the tank is always used, never stale boiler water.
The machine features three individually adjustable temperature modes, controlled by an internal PID system. This allows the water temperature to be perfectly adapted to the respective coffee variety. The switchable pre-infusion ensures even moistening of the coffee grounds, improving the extraction result.
Another highlight is the externally adjustable expansion valve, with which you can fine-tune the brewing pressure – without having to open the machine. The dual pressure gauge lets you keep an eye on the boiler and pump pressure at all times. Additionally, the ECO mode helps save electricity when the machine is on standby.
